let's meet this morning regarding this new marketo tip on the marketo emailing program and more precisely how to track very accurately all the events that occured within your emailing program, especially around the dates I am Sylvain Davril, founder of Merlin/Leonard and certainly the team's Leonard when you send an email through a normal smart campaign, you know that you have this result tab that will show you all the activities that happen just after you pushed a button, email sent, email delivered, open email, click email, You will have a lot of information with the dates that comes handy, especially if you want to export all that and work that into your Excel spreadsheet for instance. So here it's a very old campaign and some of the lines have been deleted by marketo. Oh I've talking about that in another marketo on the marketo data retention policy. But if you use the emailing program at first you don't have this result tab. So you have this nice dashboard showing aggregate information regarding your email sent. But you are not able easily to find the result tab and export your data to create a pivot table for instance, on all the clicks and all the open of all the persons. You can find this information if you for instance take a member of your program. Yeah, I will take myself and you go down into the activity log of the person. You find the program you've just sent and here you will see here for this on this line. This let's call that system email batch program which is not referenced in the folders. But you can access this program. This smart campaign. Sorry. So this is a system smart campaign that's behind the emailing program. So you see we were not here in the hierarchy so we cannot find that in hierarchy but we can access that through the activity log. And here I still have my smart list, flow, schedule, result tabs and if I go on the result tab and I will find again all the usual information I have on my smart campaign. When I use the send email action, I can see all the open click delivered bounce, activity types and I will be able to export that to excel if I want to work the the data further. So that's good to know because sometimes you may want to deep dive into those results and have a bit more information not just on the one person because you can have that in the activity of the person, but on all the person of the campaign.
